Great Fire of Creation - The benevolent divine being whom the Ankorites believe forged the world, and who exists in part within every sentient soul and offers guidance. Other names include the Great Fire, the All-Light, or Holy Creator.

Great Holy/Great Holy Ones - The divine Queen, and/or her predecessors; any of the yazata rulers.

Holy Sign - A gesture of obeisance to the Creator, also asking for protection. Made by closing the hand and touching the back of the thumb or thumbs to the forehead.

Holy Words of light (The) - The main sacred scriptures used within the Ekklesia and Circle.  While most decotees following the Ekklesian teachings will know the Holy Words from childhood, only priests and members of the Ekklesia are permitted to use them in blessings or readings on holy days.  No copy of the Holdy Words of Light exists outside of Iysärav.

Hounsaeum - The Thumb, the last courtyard of training for the Degi.

Hounsegi - The fifth and final stage of training the Degi go through before being Called and becoming Ardazem.

Houn-sem - five hundred.  Sem being the word for hundred.

Hiysurage - A central chamber within the Courts of Government of Iysärav.  Private and beyond the public eye, this is where the Circle Colours gather to discuss events and business of the importance to the running of the holy compound.

 

I

Iysärav - The complex in which the God Queen lives, along with the Blessed Circle and all factions required to run a city within a city.  Iysärav, roughly translated means "One Light" and is a symbolic living embodiment of the city itself with compounds split into Arms, Legs, the Head, Heart, and Circle Chamber.

Iydaeum - The first courtyard in which The Reborn begin their training, roughly translating as "The first finger".

Iydegi - The First Ones.  The fresh Reborn who have just emerged from the Pool of Resurrection.  The Degi of this rank are thrown into harsh and well disciplined living from the moment they are reborn.
