Omsauri - A type of willow with long elegent branches which droop and sway in the wind.  Similar to a Weeping Willow, the Omsauri has light feather-like leaves with a soft touch and dark colouration.  The Omsauri has come to represent feminine beauty in its delicacy and is considered one of the more beautiful trees of the region, the Omsauri is often found near water.

Pairing Ceremony - The focal event of Ankorite Season Meets, this Ceremony is where an Ankorite Brother and Ankorina Sister who have chosen each other are "Paired": bound in marriage for the three days and nights of the celebration. This is done in a group ceremony where all couples who wish to be Paired gather and say their vows simultaneously. At the end of the Meet, those who were Paired gather a second time for the Unbinding, which releases them of their short-term matrimonial vows.

Parzin Monastery - Found to the north of The Shining City, the Parzin Monastery is the home of the Parzin Brethren and becomes Dhavalo's new home when he is selected to enter the order.

Pool of Resurrection (The) - The mysterious deep abyss within the Circle Chamber.  Boys wishing to enter Iysärav must first be tested within the pool and only those who are worthy emerge to become the Reborn.

Rashanar (Sea of) - The main body of water between the lands of Ixien, Tanavor Minar, Karicca, and Quarai.

Reborn (The) - Those who have been chosen to serve the Blessed.  The Reborn is a wide term used for those who defend  Iysärav.  The Reborn are an elite group entering Iysärav as boys.  Their old life and existance is disgarded within the Circle Chamber and those who emerge from the Pool of Resurrection become the Reborn to begin training in the Fist.  The Reborn seldom venture outside of Iysärav as their sole existance once they are Called, is to remain within reach of the Blessed.

Rikayal'sub - The Waking Call.  The routine morning prayer of those following the teachings of the Circle and Ekklesia.  The Waking Call is given in thanks to Nuryana for allowing the mortal body to wake from the darkness of sleep each morning.  For more devout followers, the Waking Call starts long before dawn and ends when the sun rises.

Rikayatal'mas - The Eveneing Call. The prayer taken at sunset by those following the teachings of the Circle.  The Evening Call is longer than the Morning Call and is given in thanks to Nuryana for guiding mortals through another day.  The Evening Call is often followed by the Taradyum.

Ritual of Waking - The ceremony held each morning to wake Nuryana, led by the chosen few Azure Sisters and ending in the consumption of Shufthu'atan, the Nectar of Light by Nuryana.
